Crafting the MVP for KawanBantu: The Fundraising Platform
Where Purpose Meets Product — An MVP Brought to Life
We partnered with KawanBantu to design and build their MVP fundraising platform — developing branded campaign pages, dashboard interfaces, and backend APIs to help nonprofits launch donation initiatives at scale with clarity, speed, and control.
The Background
KawanBantu is a startup redefining how nonprofits launch donation campaigns. As a fundraising-as-a-service platform, KawanBantu allows NGOs to create branded, shareable donation pages — without building a site or managing any backend system. Ahead of their go-to-market launch, KawanBantu needed a modular MVP that demonstrated their product vision while supporting early NGO adopters. We were brought in to design and develop the foundation of that experience — including user-facing campaign pages, internal dashboards, and the backend architecture to support secure, automated integrations.
The Challenge
The key challenge was creating an MVP that combined visual flexibility, data transparency, and technical reliability — without overwhelming early users. Each campaign page had to reflect the identity of its NGO partner while remaining part of a unified SaaS system. At the same time, the dashboard and backend needed to offer real-time insight and automated workflows for donations, without requiring technical knowledge on the NGO’s side.
The Solution
We crafted a structured MVP framework with three essential components: custom-styled campaign pages, an interactive dashboard interface, and secure backend API integrations. The frontend emphasized storytelling and accessibility, enabling each NGO to present its mission with confidence. The dashboard allowed campaign managers to monitor donation activity, publish updates, and engage their audience with clarity. On the backend, we implemented authenticated endpoints and webhook listeners to sync donation events, trigger real-time notifications, and maintain system-wide consistency.
The Result
With its MVP successfully delivered, KawanBantu launched into the market with a product that felt refined, capable, and deeply aligned with the needs of nonprofits. NGOs were able to create live donation campaigns in hours — complete with branded storytelling, real-time dashboards, and secure data exchange. The system proved flexible, scalable, and intuitive, laying a strong foundation for KawanBantu’s next phase of growth while offering immediate value to the organizations it serves.
Designed with a balance of clarity and warmth, the landing site communicates trust while guiding different user segments (donors, NGOs, partners) through structured pathways.
An intuitive campaign dashboard designed to help NGO teams monitor donation performance, track donor activity, and manage campaign updates.
Each donation campaign has a dedicated page tailored to the NGO’s visual identity and messaging. Pages are mobile-friendly, shareable, and optimized for trust — featuring transparent donation progress, mission-driven storytelling, and call-to-action placement that guides conversion.
